nesting

Here's what I've been doing since we moved to Corvallis from Portland almost two weeks ago: unpacking, unpacking, organizing, sorting ... I think I was overly optimistic in thinking, somehow, that I'd be able to unpack everything in a couple of days and then have time to get ready for Renegade AND magically take time to draw for the 2009 calendar. Hmm, that hasn't happened exactly. I've been busy around the house, finding the right places for everything, which I – perhaps unsurprisingly – love to do. And this house – well, I love it.

I am busy folding and packaging cards for Renegade, hoping to be able to ship them all to my friend tomorrow. I'll be back from San Francisco the following Tuesday and then will get to work organizing the studio, which Ben has been working so hard on getting ready for me. I have a bunch of catch-up work to do, but then perhaps shortly after that I will be able to set aside some time for the 2009 calendar. Pictures of the studio to follow soon enough. Maybe even a return to regular posting?

hi lynn,

so great to finally meet you! sorry we didn't get a chance to talk more. i've never been to a big fair like renegade so i was in a mad rush. more like i felt like i was in a mad rush. but it was great to finally see all your stationary in person and to see their actual size. i hope you make some great sales!

Love those huge windows! You must just get the best light, and the views look pretty good, too, lots of green. Very nice!
