while you can

While you can, get your Satsuma Press Valentine's Day cards!! Or, to be exact, get them while I can still ship them to you. I'm headed to New York tomorrow afternoon for my grandmother's memorial, so it's best to order today. Ben might ship some cards for me on Saturday, but to be on the safe side, I'd rather get most of them in tomorrow's mail. I'll be back Monday night and can still send you something on Tuesday – it may just get there by the 14th, but I can't say for certain.

our house

The photos of my house were a hit. There really isn't that much more to show because our house is quite small. Really. It's a mid-century house: 2 bed, 1 tiny bathroom, living room, dining room, very little kitchen. Little bathroom meaning you can almost touch everything by standing in the middle. Little kitchen meaning it's best when there's only one person in it, but often there's 2 or 3, one of them being the kid in his Rifton stander. But it's a lovely little house and I like it a lot. And it has a great garage that I call my studio. (Though we are keeping our eyes open for a single level, accessible house that could give us all just a bit more space – both within the house and around it – for the day to day life and work.)
