One of the things I loved about making up all these weddings for the portfolio? Making up the menus. Yum. Did I mention I am have been a cook before? And I love good food. Some of you out there will appreciate this more than others – um, Ali, if you're reading this, I'm talking to you ... I know you'll totally get my made up menus.

So, let me hear your thoughts ... What do you think? I know these are just snapshots and I have ideas about how to better style everything, but that's a whole different project to tackle.
And, finally, totally unrelated to the wedding line, but since I had the camera out: that's the owl sweater I finally finished for Liam about a month and a half ago. It's a pretty great sweater. And above it is the sweater I am working on for myself - but I had to give up on the honeycomb stitch. It was very complicated and I have the feeling the yarn wasn't the right one for it – or maybe I just wanted to keep watching The Wire while I knit – so I went with a moss stitch instead, which I always love. And that pillow? I love it. I got it on super sale (60% off) from this shop, Brown House, that's closing here in Corvallis.

I'm not much of a wedding person but I think your designs look great. I especially love the dogwood and eucalyptus designs (the table card).

the wedding line is great. i love the colors, esp. the peacock/ochre combination. but that little sweater is awesome! i hope it will fit him for a while.
oh, and i get ink+peat's emails and they use vertical response and i think it looks really nice.
my, my, my. looking at the wedding line is sumptious. i'm one of those crazy people who obsess over the details of a wedding they won't be needing to plan for another decade! haha.
i loved the top half of the line. wasn't too keen on the spring green dogwood design. the smaller solid petaled flowers were to cutesy junior high for me. like.. the kind of flowers young girls doodle in their notebooks. does that make sense? i think fewer of those would've been sublime. i do like the fuller petaled part. i'm a minimalist too and the number of smaller petaled flowers was too much for me.
but the feather invites and the eucalyptus table cards were lovely! i liked the table card design a lot! i like how the flowers were upside down with a traditional feel but the typeface and formatting of the words and number were a bit more contemporary. i liked the combo a lot.
good job! can't wait to see more of your work. i hope it is everything you want it to be.
