I've been trying so hard to get the wedding line done the past week, but Ben's out of town and I'm here with Liam ... and days in the studio get interrupted easily. It's been fun to be with Liam, but it's hard, too, to be responsible for three meals a day and everything that goes in between, though I've had people to help out, too. He hasn't slept super well the past few nights and he's been waking up at 6:30 which, if you ask me, is too early. This morning I was frustrated with him because he was having a fit that his breakfast sandwich was not in the right order – meaning the sausage was supposed to be UNDERNEATH the egg. My patience failed me completely: turn the damn sandwich upside down then, Liam!! But there have been plenty of fun things, too: making pancakes together, an outing to the library ...
Liam's off with his auntie for today and I am mighty proud to be able to say that I have, finally, washed the straps and buckles on his Stokke chair. Can I tell you how nasty they were? Very. Can I tell you how many times I've washed them since we bought the chair almost two years ago? Um, never. So, friends, often times it really is the small things we get done each day ... I know the chair cleaning doesn't seem like much, but it is. It is one little thing to check of the to-do list and that is never a bad thing.
And, also, the daphne is blooming around here – and for such a tiny flower, it has such a lovely scent. And, truly, I think I've only got 2 days of printing left for the wedding line books!

our lives are such parallels, it never ceases to amaze me. sung your praises to Social Graces when I was in Nashville.
Pretty photo. I think that Liberty print is one of my favorites!
Yes, my days are the same with Emily, so one day I might have time to work on my letterpress? One day? Maybe? :) And cleaning a stroller, high chair, etc. are pretty much the goals I have everyday...and fitting in some letterpress designs or learning, etc. at least an hour a day. Busy busy!
