For a long while now I have loved Paige Russell's simple white ceramics. This image was on the front page of Etsy this morning. So so lovely! I really don't have an extra 825 dollars – or anything near that – but I do love to window shop online.
Thanks Lynn! I have not forgotten about our discussion of creative exchange. I am maybe really finally soon to be ready... I'll send you a note soon when I have an actual design. Blog looks great! I finally started mine. (www.paigeandmodern.com) Definitely more work than I knew I was in for!
I am Lynn Russell, the designer and printer behind Satsuma Press in Corvallis, Oregon.
All work is designed and printed by me on my Vandercook SP-15 or Heidelberg Windmill. This journal is a place to share some of the ideas and processes that go on before, during and after a piece goes to press – as well as a way to give you a glimpse of my life outside my studio.
And sometimes there are photos of my six year old, Liam, an amazing kid who also happens to have a neuromuscular disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II.
Thanks for stopping by. Please feel free to leave comments or email me at lynn@satsumapress.com
This is a separate space – one in which I write about my almost seven year old son, Liam, who has a neuromuscular disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2. There's a little bit about the ups and downs, the usual and unusual, life as we go along ...
