A quick note to say that I cannot be at the Summer Social Sale this coming weekend. I don't want to go into many details – one of our best friends was killed by a drunk driver on Saturday. I expect I won't be here on this space much for some time to come, but I know you all will understand. I'll catch up with you another time.

don't worry about it. we all can relate to how hard it is to loose someone, especially to something as preventable as being killed by a drunk driver.we understand your pain.

the piece you wrote about in your previous post is very beautiful and i cannot wait for the photos of your progress with next year's calendar. if this piece says anything about next year's artwork, i'd definitely have to place an order for sure!
meanwhile, please take all the time you need to be with your family and friends. it is never easy when a loved one is no longer with us and all the more tragic that it could have been prevented.
